Privacy Policy

This explains what Hatch Makers ("Hatch") collects, why, and who sees it. We don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Your email, when you sign in, follow a maker, tap "Notify me" or ask to sell on Hatch.
- Order details: your name, email, shipping address, what you bought and the amount. Card numbers go straight to Stripe and never touch Hatch.
- What you do on Hatch: the makers you follow and the pieces you save.
- Makers' details: shop name, bio, photos, social handles and sign-in email. Stripe collects their identity and bank details for payouts.
How we use it
- To process and deliver your orders, and email you about them.
- To email you when a maker you follow posts something new, only after you've confirmed your email. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep Hatch safe and working, and to answer you when you contact us.
Who sees it
- The maker you buy from sees your name, email and shipping address so they can ship your order.
- Services that run Hatch: Stripe (payments), Supabase (our database), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email). They only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any maker's emails with the link at the bottom of the email.
- Unfollow makers and remove saved pieces from your account at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it. We keep order records as long as the law requires for taxes and disputes.
Children
Hatch isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and tell you on the site if it's a big change.
